Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, assist them in selecting appropriate products, and ensure a welcoming retail environment. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to operate POS systems efficiently. Multilingual abilities and previous experience in retail sales or hospitality are highly valued. The Marijuana Budtender will play a vital role in educating customers about cannabis products while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on different strains, edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis products
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Manage inventory levels through proper filing and stock replenishment
- Uphold compliance with state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and ID verification
- Handle customer inquiries professionally both in person and via phone or email
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping,



and data entry using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word
- Support team leadership in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming retail setting

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, computer operation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and basic math skills
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for stock movement or display setup
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining compliance with regulations
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
