Securitas Canada is hiring Event Security for our client! We are looking for individuals experienced in event security but also entry level.

Your customer service skills are top notch, and you have the ability to de-escalate and enforce protocols and procedures at the site.

**Position Overview:**

**Position: Event Security Guard**

**Wages: $18.50/hr**

**Status: Temporary (Sept 10 to Sept 20, 2026, contract position)**

**Hiring Event Location: 235 Yorkland Blvd Suite 400 4th Floor North York, ON M2J 4Y8.**

**Date: Thursday Aug 6, 2026**

**Time: 10AM-2PM.

Please arrive early.

We have a hard stop at 2PM.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:**

+ De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
+ Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
+ Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
+ Work with in office executive and VIP protection security personnel.




+ Perform surveillance duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS** **:**

+ Valid Ontario Security Licence
+ Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Red Cross certification is preferred.
+ Security experience in event security preferred.
+ Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
+ Customer service experience is a strong asset.
+ Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 2-3 hours.
