Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lane Closure Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to assist in maintaining secure and efficient traffic flow during construction works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing lane closures, supporting construction activities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on infrastructure development and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

- Set up and dismantle lane closure devices, barriers, and signage in accordance with safety standards and project requirements
- Ensure proper traffic control measures are in place to protect workers and the public
- Monitor work zones for safety hazards and report issues promptly
- Support general construction tasks related to roadwork and infrastructure projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment

Qualifications

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions




- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required with a clean driving record

This position is vital for ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction zones while supporting infrastructure improvements.

This is a regular, full-time position working with the same construction crew and often requiring multiple set ups and tear downs in different locations daily.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
