Bear Mountain Golf and Tennis Club is now hiring Seasonal Full Time & Part Time Greenskeeper Associates.

Responsibilities

May include, but are not limited to:

- Perform general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
- Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing.
- Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
- Operate walking equipment in mowing greens, collars, and tees.
- Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
- Operates utility vehicles and mowing equipment.
- Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work area

Qualifications

- Ability to, or have the skills to learn how to operate standard transmission utility vehicles
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and the ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well with others to promote a cohesive team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently alone




- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with the public in a courteous and tactful manner
- Previous experience within the golf course or landscaping fields is an asset
- Valid driver’s license required.
- CSA approved footwear is required
