Regular Part-Time Childcare Assistants

The Children’s Therapy & Family Resource Centre has multiple openings for regular, part time Childcare Assistants in our Supported Child Development Program in Kamloops.

These positions are 20 hours per week, working 8:30am-12:30pm OR 12:30pm-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. There is potential for additional hours.

Applicants MUST have own vehicle and a valid BC drivers license as these positions require travel to/from different daycare locations in the city.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Training in early childhood development (ECE -Early Childhood Education Diploma) or equivalent - ECEA will not be accepted.
- A minimum of one year work experience with children, particularly children with additional support needs.
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Criminal record check required upon hiring.
- Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle - no public transit as employees will be working at different daycare locations on a regular basis.




- Must be available weekdays Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Salary: starting at $29.75/hr
- Extended Health Benefits following probationary period
