Crestview Park Day Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant early learning team. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities

- Support educators in implementing engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Supervise children during play, meals, naps, transitions, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide responsive care to children with diverse abilities and individual needs.
- Encourage positive social interactions and help children navigate conflicts in a respectful and supportive way.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and learning materials.
- Communicate effectively with children, families,



and team members to support each child's growth and well-being.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements to create a secure environment for every child.

Requirements

- Completion of a 40-hour Child Care Assistant (CCA) Course
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom or caregiving setting is an asset.
- Experience supporting children with diverse abilities or additional support needs is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and play-based learning.
- Solid nurturing, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain energetic, patient, flexible, and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful environment where every child and family feels they belong.
