Now Hiring: Veterinary Assistant

Do you love animals and thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment? Abegweit Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help us provide top-quality care to our patients (and their people).

What You’ll Do
-Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
-Safely handle and restrain animals with care and confidence
-Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and equipment
-Clean and maintain treatment areas and kennels
-Support front desk tasks when needed (appointments, client communication)
-Provide comfort and basic care to hospitalized patients

What We’re Looking For
-Genuine love for animals and client service
-Strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
-Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
-Good communication and basic computer skills




-Prior veterinary or animal care experience preferred (but willing to train the right person!)
