Overview
HarmonyCrew Home Health Care Inc. is a growing home care agency serving Surrey and surrounding communities. We provide compassionate, non-medical home support services that help seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Development Coordinator to build referral partnerships, expand our community presence, generate qualified client leads, and contribute directly to the growth of our organization.
Duties
- Develop and implement business development and community outreach strategies to generate new client referrals.
- Build professional relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, retirement communities, assisted living residences, physiotherapy clinics, occupational therapists, senior-serving organizations, and other community referral partners.
- Promote HarmonyCrew Home Health Care services throughout Surrey and surrounding communities.
- Represent the company at networking events, community programs, health fairs, presentations, and professional meetings.
- Identify new referral sources, partnership opportunities, and potential markets.
- Meet with prospective clients and families to explain available home support services and assist with initial service inquiries.
- Follow up promptly with prospective clients, families, and referral partners.
- Support the conversion of qualified inquiries into active clients while maintaining ethical and professional sales practices.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with community and healthcare partners.
- Prepare outreach materials, presentations, brochures, email campaigns, and other marketing content.
- Support digital marketing activities, including social media, community listings, Google Business Profile, and online awareness campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, referrals, meetings, outreach activities, follow-ups, and outcomes using CRM or office software.
- Monitor referral activity, business development performance, community opportunities, and relevant market trends.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding leads, partnerships, outreach results, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with management and the care coordination team to ensure accurate service information and a smooth client onboarding experience.
- Protect confidential client, family, employee, and business information in accordance with company privacy policies and applicable requirements.
- Represent HarmonyCrew professionally and uphold the company’s values of compassion, integrity, dignity, reliability, and respect.
Skills and QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare business development, healthcare marketing, community outreach, home care, senior services, healthcare administration, consultative sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building professional relationships, developing referral sources, generating leads, or supporting business growth.
- Excellent communication, networking, presentation, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong consultative sales and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to communicate professionally with seniors, families, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and business partners.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, time-management, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a growing organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM software, email,
and digital communication tools.
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Surrey and surrounding communities.
- Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred
- Experience working with an established home care agency, home health care organization, community health organization, senior-services provider, or healthcare service provider in British Columbia.
- Knowledge of the BC home care industry, private-pay home support services, senior-care resources, community healthcare services, and referral pathways.
- Experience developing relationships with healthcare professionals, retirement communities, senior-serving organizations, and community partners.
- Experience conducting community presentations, attending networking events, and organizing outreach initiatives.
- Experience communicating with prospective clients and families about home care or senior-support services.
- Existing skilled relationships within Surrey or the Lower Mainland are considered an asset.
- Experience using CRM, home care management, scheduling, marketing, or lead-tracking software is considered an asset.
- Education in business, marketing, healthcare administration, community development, public relations, social services, or a related field is considered an asset.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
