Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, the Steel Detailer plays a key role in the Detailing process.

Requirements:

- Must have minimum experience as a Steel Detailer.
- Experience in Tekla Structures is required.

Desired Qualification:

- Experience as a Steel Detailing Checker is desired.

Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
- Create model, connect, shop drawings, and erection diagrams in Tekla, with minimum supervision, while maintaining project schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of detailing requirements outlined within each project's scope.
- Develop detailed shop and erection drawings in Tekla in accordance with the “ISM Detailing Reference Manual”, CISC Code of Standard practice, and BC Building Code.




- Initiate and prepare RFI's and follow-up as needed.
- Provide real time support for fabrication and erection teams.
- Work on assigned projects with little or no supervision.
- Accountable for detailing accuracy.
- Any other duties assigned by the Drawing Office Manager.
- Adhere to ISM policies, procedures, and ISM Core Values.
