Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dispatcher to lead daily dispatch operations and support the growth of our transportation business. This role is for career-driven, dependable professionals who want to grow into management. This is not a temporary or stepping-stone job.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee and manage daily dispatch operations for company drivers and owner-operators

· Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency, service levels, and profitability

· Lead, mentor, and support junior dispatchers and administrative staff

· Handle escalated driver, customer, and operational issues

· Coordinate cross-border and domestic shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations

· Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, driver utilization, and cost control

· Work closely with management on operational planning, process improvement, and growth initiatives

· Ensure accurate documentation and system updates across dispatch and TMS software

· Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures

· Other tasks as required

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of dispatch experience in trucking/logistics

· Solid understanding of FTL/LTL, cross-border operations, HOS, and compliance

· Proven leadership or supervisory experience

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills





· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and follow the chain of command

· Proficient with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office

· Fluent in English (spoken and written)

· Additional languages (Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, Polish, Russian) are an asset

· Punctuality is mandatory — attendance and reliability are non-negotiable

· Must have a personal vehicle as reliable transportation

· Strong typing speed and accuracy

· Working knowledge of load boards is an asset (DAT, Loadlink)
