Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our client's operations at their factory and warehouse in Fergus, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and organization. This role requires an understanding of warehouse distribution processes, an ability to learn and adapt on the job, and a willingness to work collaboratively with a team. The Warehouse Associate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of products in a fast-paced environment.

This is a permanent, full-time position at an established company, with guaranteed hours and opportunity for advancement. We provide weekly pay and support our employees. Qualified applicants can start as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

- Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment to meet customer specifications and deadlines
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Support manufacturing activities by handling raw materials and finished goods as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols




- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency
- Train on and operate manufacturing machines as needed

Qualifications

- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging, and inventory management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
- Previous warehouse experience in distribution or manufacturing environments is preferred
- Familiarity or experience with forklifts (reach) is a plus and will be compensated accordingly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory control
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
