Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Red Seal Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction painting, restoration, and industrial applications. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications
- Perform restoration work on existing structures, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality
- Operate rigging equipment safely for elevated or hard-to-reach areas
- Utilize carpentry skills for minor repairs or modifications as needed for surface preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols




- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met on time

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, or industrial painting environments
- Valid Red Seal certification or equivalent credentials preferred
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and rigging equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Experience with residential and commercial painting projects is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while following safety guidelines
- Construction experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship is essential

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
