Evergreen Tennis is an academic tennis program dedicated to helping children and adults build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a lifelong love for tennis.
We believe tennis is about more than learning strokes. Through thoughtful coaching, structured lessons, and a positive learning environment, we help students develop athletic skills, confidence, resilience, and a lasting enjoyment of the game.
As our program continues to grow, we’re looking for passionate coaches who genuinely enjoy teaching and want to make a meaningful impact on every student they work with.
Coaching Locations
Summer: L’Amoreaux Tennis Centre
Winter: Indoor tennis facilities across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Responsibilities
- Coach children and adult players in private and small-group lessons
- Deliver lessons following Evergreen’s coaching philosophy and lesson structure
- Create a fun, safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Help students build confidence and develop strong tennis fundamentals
- Communicate professionally with parents when needed
- Arrive on time, demonstrate professionalism, and maintain a positive attitude
- Represent Evergreen Tennis with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about teaching and working with people
- Friendly, patient, reliable, and professional
- Comfortable coaching children and beginner/intermediate players
- Able to communicate confidently in English
- Previous coaching experience is preferred
- Tennis Canada certification (or currently working toward certification) is preferred
- CPR / First Aid certification is an asset
- Bilingual (English / Mandarin) is an asset
Compensation
CA$40-$45 per hour
Compensation is based on coaching experience, certifications, reliability, and teaching responsibilities.
