Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians - Controls Experience Preferred

Description: Journeyperson: Reporting to their site supervisor, journeymen/women are responsible for: providing guidance and leadership to apprentices, working together with others or alone to complete the installation of building automation systems (BAS) and maintaining good communication throughout the duration of the project.

Apprentice: Reporting to their lead hand or journeyperson, apprentice installers are responsible for working in a team to complete the installation of building automation systems, including low-voltage wiring and device installation. Apprentices are responsible for properly securingall tools and equipment at the end of each work period to prevent damage or loss.

Responsibilities:





- Performing all work in a safe manner - abiding by Serv-All's Health and Safety policies as well as all government legislation and regulations
- Ensure construction requirements are met
- Meeting customer and employer project goals and schedules
- Bending and installing emt, pulling wire, etc. - this will be a hands on position
- Installing and wiring of electrical devices, such as controllers, relays, actuators, etc.
- Mentoring and conducting on-the-job training to apprentices (journeyperson)
- Managing product resources and material
- Adhere to all of Serv-All Mechanical's policies and procedures

Qualifications/Skills:

- Journeyman/Apprentice Electrician
- Controls Experience an Asset
- Class 5 Drivers License/Clean Drivers Abstract
- Maintain a safe and secure work setting
- Ability to clear a Criminal Record Check
- CSTS2020/WHMIS2015
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
- Ability to manage problematic situations with customers and co-workers
- Well developed trouble shooting skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.10-$43.70 per hour

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Journeyman/Apprentice Electrician: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
