Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety procedures. Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and long-distance freight delivery
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation
- Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients,



and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues

Experience

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in freight transportation or commercial driving preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance requirements

This position requires a dedicated individual capable of managing heavy equipment operation, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role offers an engaging work workplace where professionalism, reliability, and safety are paramount.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per hour
