Senior Estimator

We're a growing commercial construction firm specialising in high-quality fit-outs and tenant improvements including a strong track record in daycare and childcare facilities, fitness, office, and hospitality builds. We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team.

This isn't just a desk job. It's a chance to be a key player in a fast-paced environment where results are valued over red tape. You'll work directly with our Chief Estimator, receiving high-level mentorship while taking ownership of complex commercial bids and tenant improvements.

What you’ll do:

- Execute full-cycle bids: Lead and assist in preparing precise budgets, bids, and quantity take-offs across all divisions.
- Manage scope: Review drawings and specifications to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities; manage sub-trade pricing, allowances, and scope alignment and flag where incomplete design needs qualification.
- Track the tender: Maintain meticulous organisation of addenda, RFIs, and changes throughout the tendering phase.
- Own the workflow: Use On-Screen Takeoff and Excel to produce professional, scalable estimates.
- Add value: Help identify value-engineering and cost-saving opportunities that protect the project budget from bid through pre-construction.

What we’re looking for:

- Experience:



10+ years of dedicated general contracting estimator experience. You understand how buildings are assembled and what they should cost. Mastery in tenant-improvement estimating is essential.
- Precision: An uncompromising eye for detail and a high level of numerical literacy.
- Communication: Clear, concise written communication. Team-oriented approach to PM and field teams.
- Mindset: Curious, reliable, and self-directed enough to work independently within a lean, effective team.

Pay: $105,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
