Position Summary
Thermtest is looking to add a Production Assembler to our growing team. This position is responsible for producing products by assembling parts and subassemblies, quality control (QC), and producing packaging for products. This role focuses on electronic and mechanical assembly and testing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing products by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Electronic assembly of products
- Mechanical assembly of products
- Performing step by step quality control tests on assembled products and subassemblies
- Following QC/QA procedures
- Keeping accurate counts of parts and subassemblies for inventory and ordering purposes
- Occasionally supporting with packing and shipping where required
Required Skills
- Basic electronics soldering skills are required (circuit board soldering)
- Basic use of electronic trouble-shooting tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Able to work with and assemble small components
- Able to use hand tools and basic power tools (drill, miter saw, planer, etc.)
- Experience with packing and shipping Internationally is considered an asset
- Previous experience in assembling or QC is considered an asset
- A diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, or related disciplines is considered an asset

- Self-motivated and able to work independently
