Governance Process Analyst– our client requires a Governance Process Assurance Analyst to be responsible for ensuring projects and program deliverables meet established quality standards, governance requirements, and organizational methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. This role conducts quality reviews, audits, and compliance assessments, while monitoring quality metrics, risks, and corrective actions to promote successful project outcomes. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, the Analyst provides guidance on quality practices, supports continuous process improvement initiatives, and helps ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across projects and programs.

Winnipeg working hours are 8.30 am to 4.30 pm CST, Monday to Friday.

Typical Tasks Include:

- Conduct project quality reviews and gate assessments.
- Evaluate project deliverables against defined acceptance criteria.
- Audit project documentation and governance artifacts.
- Track quality-related issues, risks, and corrective actions.
- Prepare quality status reports and dashboards.
- Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement workshops.
- Review requirements, design documents, testing results, and implementation plans.
- Monitor project compliance with organizational standards and methodologies.




- Participate in project steering committee and governance meetings.
- Support project managers in resolving quality-related concerns.

Mandatory Requirements Include:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 5 years’ experience in program and project quality assurance, project management, business analysis, or governance roles.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Experience supporting or participating in project management, quality assurance, audit, compliance, governance, or continuous improvement activities.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and frameworks.
- Robust analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of project documentation and deliverables.
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Microsoft 365).
