Job Brief:

Hockley Valley Resort and Adamo Estate Winery is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician 2. The role involves ensuring that all HVR & AEW buildings, facilities, and equipment are well-maintained and operating smoothly, maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of the premises.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:





· Ensure a secure and inviting environment for guests by upholding safety standards throughout the premises.

· Maintain and repair guest rooms, common areas, and staff accommodations.

· Perform maintenance tasks such as plumbing, hardware repair, and unclogging drains.

· Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues promptly.

· Repair and maintain heating/ventilation systems.

· Address issues like broken furniture, leaks in bathrooms, and kitchen maintenance.

· Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for the exterior, grounds, pool, and exercise room.

· Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Executive Committee.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED preferred.

· Previous experience as a Hotel Maintenance Technician is advantageous.

· Ability to multitask and solve basic problems efficiently.

· Proficiency with hand and power tools.

· Basic electrical knowledge; lamps, outlets, light switches.

· Capability to work in various areas of the building and perform diverse functions to maintain the property's condition.

Work Conditions:

· Ability to stand for extended periods.

· Lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.

· Perform bending, crouching, and lifting tasks.

· Work independently and under pressure.

· Adapt to working in both hot and cold environments.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.29 per hour
