About the Opportunity

Talent Connectors is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing roofing contractor serving the Lower Mainland, for a dependable General Labourer. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who are eager to build a career in the roofing industry. On-the-job training will be provided to successful candidates.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and replace roofing systems.
- Install asphalt shingles, SBS/torch-on, metal, and flat roofing systems.
- Remove existing roofing materials.
- Install flashing, underlayment, vents, and waterproof membranes.
- Perform roof inspections and repairs.
- Read measurements and prepare roofing materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Follow WorkSafeBC safety requirements.
- Work effectively within a roofing crew.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of roofing experience preferred.




- Ability to work at heights.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
- Fall Protection certification is an asset.
- Punjabi language proficiency is required to communicate effectively with the existing crew and site supervisor.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
