Duties

- Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials, setting up scaffolding, or preparing work areas
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision, following safety protocols at all times
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify hazards or issues needing attention




- Contribute to maintaining safety standards by adhering to all health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and work effectively with others
- Basic familiarity with tools and equipment used in construction or maintenance environments is a plus
- Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain a clean work area
- Prior experience in general labour or construction is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
