Yaskawa Motoman Canada has an opening for a Robotic Field Service Technician position. Yaskawa is a leading OEM industrial robot arm supplier and we are seeking a motivated individual to join our Customer Satisfaction Team.

SUMMARY:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

· Perform preventive and emergency repair procedures, completing required reports and satisfying customer needs through practical field experience and in-depth company training programs.

· Responsible for safety (in house and at customer site.) In-depth troubleshooting of broad range of robotic systems, preventative maintenance of robots/controllers/related equipment.

· In-depth repair of robots, controllers and related equipment.

· Generate and follow up on service trip reports.

· Communicate, attack and resolve safety/service related issues via verbal and written reports.

· Refer Sales/Service leads to be compensated with a bonus program

· Coordinate service support efforts with Regional Sales Managers.

· Must be able to travel.



Must have a valid driver's license and full coverage automobile insurance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Technology diploma from a college and one to three years of related experience in troubleshooting and repair of robotic or electro-mechanical systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
