Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and providing a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food industry protocols are preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly and courteously throughout their visit
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and transactions
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management to handle multiple tables during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling protocols
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Effective communication skills for working with team members and guests
- Familiarity with food industry standards including serving, food preparation, and hospitality best practices
