Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented drywall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various building components, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of skills including drywall installation, framing and taping. Candidates with handyman experience and construction skills are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Installation: Measure, cut, and secure drywall panels/sheets to studs or joists using screws, nails, or adhesive.
- Preparation: Read blueprints, specifications, and layouts to determine project requirements.
- Finishing: Tape seams using tape machines, apply multiple coats of joint compound (mud), and cover nail/screw indentations.
- Sanding: Sand dried joint compound to ensure a smooth, seamless finish.
- Corner Treatment: Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Site Safety & Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe, debris-free environment.
- Repairs:



Remove and replace damaged drywall sections.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools (utility knives, drywall saws, drills, sanders, lifts).
- Physical Strength & Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, climb scaffolding, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Precision: High attention to detail for accurate measurements and seamless, smooth finishes.
- Safety Mindset: Knowledge of safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (masks/respirators) due to dust.

Experience & Education

- Typically learned through on-the-job training, apprenticeships, or vocational training.
- Experience with metal framing or acoustic ceiling installation is often preferred.
