Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter/ Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting detailed technical drawings & plans for fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

- Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers, project manager & shop personnel to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create accurate models and layouts for construction, manufacturing, or design projects.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including animations or renderings using 2D animation techniques or Sketchup.

Skills

- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Sketchup.




- Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques for both 2D and 3D designs.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and customers effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot design challenges as they arise.
