Maintenance & Yard Person

Westcore Links Inc. is a growing transportation company providing dependable transportation solutions throughout Canada and The USA. We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated Maintenance & Yard Person to join our team in Nisku, Alberta.

The successful candidate will play an significant role in keeping our trucks, trailers, equipment, shop, and yard clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working around heavy equipment and takes pride in maintaining a safe and professional workplace.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and shop.
- Prepare trucks, trailers, and equipment for daily operations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and trailers.
- Complete minor repairs and assist with basic mechanical maintenance.
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, loaders, and other yard equipment.
- Organize tools, parts, and inventory.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 1 or Class 3 is considered an asset).
- Mechanical aptitude with experience working around heavy trucks and trailers.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.




- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-focused with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
- Occasional weekends during peak operational periods

Experience

- Heavy equipment or truck maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Yard or shop operations: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification

- Class 5 Driver's Licence (required)
- Forklift Certification (asset)
- First Aid/CPR (asset)

Work Location

In person – Nisku, Alberta
