· Preparation of financial statements, reporting packages and working papers
· Preparation of project cost reports, job cost reports and monthly progress billings
· Accounts Receivable, prepare monthly billings, review selected accounts and assist with collections
· Accounts Payable and payment functions
· Process payroll, WSIB and EHT remittances
· Reconcile general ledger accounts
· Prepare operating and job budgets
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
· Preparation of HST returns for various companies
· Preparation of year end files
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary certification in accounting
· Minimum three years recent accounting experience
· Accurate and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
· Excellent organization and communication skills
· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
· Experience with integrated accounting systems is an asset
· Experience with accounting in a retirement home setting is an asset
