We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, and mechanical systems, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various mechanical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Provide field service support for clients, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving construction or property maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC design and technology.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the HVAC/R field.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, including air conditioning systems, boilers, and refrigeration units.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in appliance repair is an asset.
- Background in construction or property maintenance is advantageous.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
