Corell Custom Cabinetry is a well-established family-owned custom cabinet shop located in Mallorytown, Ontario. For over 30 years, we have been designing and manufacturing high-quality custom kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and millwork with exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker's Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced craftsmen in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid interest in woodworking, construction, and cabinetry, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. Prior experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

Duties

- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of custom cabinetry and millwork
- Sand, prepare, assemble cabinets
- Operate hand tools, small power tools, chop saw and table saw etc.
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, and sanding as needed for various projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality standards




- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Perform other shop duties as assigned
- Ability to work within a deadline

Requirements

- Basic understanding of construction drawings
- Experience with woodworking and cabinetry is an asset but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and other manufacturing equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Construction experience or handyman skills are desirable
- Ability to follow safety protocols at all times during work activities
- Must be reliable with good communication skills and a positive attitude
