Broadhead Industrial is accepting resumes for an EXPERIENCED Red Seal Journeyman Welder for safety-sensitive positions on a rotating 14/14 rotation within the shop and mine sites in Fort McMurray.

Both camp with flights and Local positions with LOA available

Equipment experience mandatory.

An excellent Welder will be:

A solid self-starter

Experienced, competent and able to repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy duty equipment in open-pit mining

The people in this position will be expected to work 12 hours per shift on a 14/14 rotation.

Check dozers, haul trucks, excavators and other heavy construction and mining equipment for proper performance

Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions

Repair and replace defective parts, components and/or systems

Test repaired equipment for proper performance and that it meets or exceeds manufacturer's specifications

What's required from you;

A minimum of 3 years experience working with large construction and mining open pit equipment,

MUST include in depth experience with CAT, Komatsu, John Deere and Hitachi

Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills

Superior welding aptitude

Shop and/or field work experience

Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

Collaborative communication style

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team





MUST be able to complete a Respirator Fit test and don a mask at any time while at work, which also means compliance with facial hair requirements to ensure a complete seal for the mask

Requirements;

Provide a minimum of a Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract

Provide a criminal record check

Complete drug and alcohol screening with a negative result

Complete a fitness evaluation related specifically to your position

Provide copies of current certifications
