In this rewarding evening role, you will directly support persons served ages 0-17, helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered in a nurturing home environment. As a Weekend Only In-Home Care Provider with Netsanak Wekowaw (My Siblings Home) LTD, you will play a crucial role in promoting growth, well-being, and stability for the children and youth in your care.

Work Conditions:

- Home environment at our Wabasca home.
- This role requires dedication, compassion, and teamwork to provide high-quality, individualized care.
- Occasional travel or overnight shifts may be required, offering variety and flexibility.
- Handling sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide daily care, guidance, and mentorship to persons served during weekends.
- Oversee and maintain a protected, structured, and supportive home workplace.
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and follow appropriate procedures.
- Safely administer medication as required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies.
- Complete all responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and collaborative environment with co-workers.




- Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and proactively communicating about scheduling.
- Ensure safe food handling practices and support meal preparation.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including evening and occasional overnight shifts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- High School Diploma; must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in child/youth care or a related field.
- Valid Food Handling Certificate.
- Standard First Aid and Level C CPR Certification.
- Recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within 3 months).
- Child Services Intervention Record Check (within 3 months).
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Skills and Knowledge:

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Highly organized, able to respond calmly in emergencies.
- Team player with a strong commitment to the well-being of children and youth.
- Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practices is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Word and Excel.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
