Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler I
Location: Calgary, AB
Our client is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler I to join their team in Calgary. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented qualified with experience in electrical and mechanical assembly who is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
What's the Job?
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform wiring, soldering, cable routing, and component installation with a high level of accuracy.
- Conduct functional testing of assemblies and systems to verify performance and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot assembly and testing issues and perform corrective actions as required.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, test results, repairs, and production documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to achieve production targets and project deadlines.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or technical certification in Electromechanics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in electromechanical assembly or a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical assembly techniques, and safety practices.
- Experience with soldering, cable assembly, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work while maintaining safety standards.
