Responsibilities

- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using our POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS software
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant’s offerings
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with courtesy and clear communication, assisting with reservations or general questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment




- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction

Requirements

- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Previous restaurant experience is advantageous; familiarity with food service operations enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus but training will be provided
- Experience in hotel or food service environments demonstrates adaptability and customer focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with diverse guests and team members
