Job Description

We are a well-established, high-volume Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialty clinic serving the west Edmonton community with a team of 5 ENT Specialists. We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our clinic immediately.

This is a quick-paced specialist practice that requires someone who is organized, dependable, confident working independently, and capable of maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all patient and team interactions. We are looking for a candidate who can step into the role with minimal training and contribute effectively from day one.

Only serious applicants with strong medical office experience and proven expertise using MedAccess EMR will be considered.

Schedule

- Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Responsibilities

- Professionally greet and check in patients
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
- Process referrals and coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and correspondence professionally
- Perform administrative and clerical duties to support daily clinic operations
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and clinic standards

Qualifications





- Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical or specialist clinic required
- Advanced proficiency and hands-on expertise with MedAccess EMR is mandatory and non-negotiable
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy specialist clinic environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be available to start immediately
