Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team! If you have a passion for coffee, tea, and great customer service, this role is for you. You’ll prepare and serve beverages, provide an exceptional guest experience, and help maintain a clean and welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other menu items.
- Operate the POS system for order taking and payment processing.
- Deliver excellent customer service — take accurate orders, engage with customers, and handle inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, including prep areas and dining space.
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep and restocking supplies.
- Work efficiently with team members during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Basic kitchen and food prep skills required.
- Available Wednesday to Sunday, 10am -9pm.
- Previous barista or café experience preferred (not required).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math ability for cash handling and retail transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha, Micros, etc.) is a plus.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good self-motivation.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
