Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our freight.

Responsibilities Delivery of construction materials and equipment around Southwestern Ontario. Experience in Oversized loads and operating heavy equipment required. Overtime pay after 44 hrs. Operate vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure,



and other essential functions.
- Assist in training recent drivers on safe driving practices and company policies.

Requirements

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Must Drive standard transmission

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 – 60 per week
