Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing at the end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food preparation areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly during busy periods without compromising quality or safety
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members
Qualifications
- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or food trays
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Experience with Micros POS or similar systems is advantageous but not mandatory
