ROLE:

Your role as a “Brand Ambassador” is to welcome customers, as guests, to your demo station and optimize the opportunities for sales by encouraging sampling and sharing product information (company history, origin of product, product attributes, flavour, etc.).

This is a Part Time position. Hours are based on Store Needs, trade shows and will run Thursday to Sunday inclusive in to the Greater Toronto Area including Hamilton, Ajax, Whitby, Brampton and Aurora.

DUTIES:

- Educate yourself on the products you are demonstrating using information provided to you.
- Setup demo station with products and equipment.
- Maintain safe operating procedures for the well-being of customers and associates
- Prepare food in advance according to instructions and training ( if required)
- Ensure communication of allergens to customers
- Provide demo feedback reports.
- Take pictures of demo station and products on shelf for social media purposes
- Attend periodic meetings for the purpose of product knowledge, cooking demonstrations and training on preparing recipes.
- Manage and track sales of all items demonstrated
- Upon ending your shift,



take responsibility for cleaning your demo station and related tools and accessories related to your demo.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Exceptionally strong customer service skills
- *Food handlers Certification*
- A proven passion for food and nutrition
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge of various products
- Understand and communicate quality and ingredient information to customers.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Must have weekend availability.
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment for the purpose of the demonstration.
- Demo experience is a must
- Must have a valid G-class driver’s license and have a car

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
