Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an chance to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service environment, utilizing POS systems such as Micros POS and demonstrating strong time management and customer service abilities.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth restaurant operations




- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation protocols
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering and bill calculations
- Experience with food handling, food safety, and food industry best practices is desirable
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus but not mandatory
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
