Responsibilities

- Greet children, parents, and guardians warmly each morning and afternoon, establishing a positive rapport.
- Assist with early morning preparations to ensure classrooms are ready for daily activities.
- Supervise children during before-school activities, helping them settle in and engage in age-appropriate tasks.
- Support the transition from school to after-school programs by organizing materials and guiding children to designated areas.
- Monitor children’s safety and well-being throughout the before and after periods, maintaining a secure environment.




- Collaborate with teaching staff to communicate any special needs or important information about individual children.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas used during before and after care sessions, ensuring a welcoming space for all.

Qualifications

- Experience working with children or in early childhood education is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise young children responsibly and attentively.
- Passion for supporting children's development through engaging activities and positive interactions.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Flexibility to work mornings and afternoons according to the program schedule.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, reflecting your commitment to educational growth.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
