We are currently seeking 4 reliable General Labourers to assist with a furniture installation project. This is a short-term opportunity for individuals who are physically fit, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Dates: Saturday, August 8 – Monday, August 10, 2026
Location - 144 bloor st w 7th floor toronto on m5s 1m4
Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Positions Available: 4
Responsibilities
- Place and move furniture throughout the worksite
- Assemble furniture and fasten components together
- Perform general cleaning and site organization
- Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling as required
- Complete other general labour duties assigned by the site supervisor
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move furniture safely
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools (basic drills only)
- Solid work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Previous furniture assembly or general labour experience is an asset but not required
Tools & PPE
- All required tools will be provided on site.
- Steel-toe safety shoes are not required.
Additional Information
- Tool Allowance: $25 flat fee per worker
- Overtime: No planned overtime. However, 1–2 workers may be asked to stay an additional couple of hours if required.
- Parking: Paid garage parking is available on site (approximately $20–$25 per day).
