Fire Alarm Technician Trainee / Apprentice

We are a growing fire protection company seeking a motivated, dependable individual looking to build a long-term career as a Fire Alarm Technician. No prior fire alarm experience is required—we are looking for the right attitude, strong work ethic, and mechanical aptitude. You will work directly alongside an experienced technician, receiving hands-on training in the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of fire alarm systems.

What You’ll Learn

Fire alarm inspections and testing

Troubleshooting fire alarm systems

Installation and servicing of fire alarm devices

Reading drawings and system layouts

Use of industry tools and testing equipment

Ontario Fire Code and CAN/ULC standards

Qualified communication with clients

What We’re Looking For

Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work

Strong willingness to learn and accept coaching

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Positive attitude and strong work ethic





Able to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable using hand and power tools

Valid G driver’s licence with a clean driving record (preferred)

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when required

Pay: $20.72-$41.20 per hour
