About the role

We're looking for a dependable Shop Helper / General Labourer to support our fabrication team producing architectural façade and cladding components. You'll help keep the shop running smoothly by preparing materials, moving parts between stations, assisting with packaging/shipping, and maintaining a clean, protected workspace. This is a great entry point for someone who wants steady work and the chance to learn fabrication skills.

What you'll do

- Stage raw materials and parts for production (loading carts, organizing work areas)

- Assist fabricators and machine operators with basic tasks (measuring, labeling, deburring/cleanup of parts)

- Pack finished products safely for shipment (wrapping, strapping, labeling, palletizing)

- Load/unload deliveries and help manage inventory areas

- Maintain housekeeping and follow all safety procedures (PPE required)

- Use basic hand tools and shop equipment safely (training provided)

What we're looking for





- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting 25-50 lbs

- Able to follow instructions and work well with a team

- Safety-first mindset (steel-toe boots required)

Assets (nice to have)

- Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, construction, or manufacturing environment

- Ability to read a tape measure / basic math

- Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)

- Familiarity with power tools (drill, grinder, etc.)
