Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Journeyman and Experienced Apprentice to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be responsible, safety oriented, reliable and dedicated to the trade. This role requires strong proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, layout, fabrication, and installation of sheet metal systems, along with familiarity with construction management software. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a agile construction environment.

Responsibilities

- Fabricate, install, assemble, and repair sheet metal components (ductwork, flashing, roofing, cladding, etc.) according to project specifications, blueprints, and schematics
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical schematics to perform precise layout and installation
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam, ProCore, and Primavera P6 for project documentation, planning, and progress tracking
- Lead and supervise crew members on job sites, providing hands-on guidance to maintain quality and productivity




- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and safety regulations
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety protocols, and client requirements
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet project deadlines

Requirements

- Journeyman-level experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic / Sheet Metal Worker (minimum 4–5 years preferred)
- Strong residential sheet metal experience (duct systems, HVAC, architectural sheet metal, etc.)
- Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Proficiency with construction management software including Bluebeam
- Solid knowledge of quality control procedures, safety standards, and relevant building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Valid Sheet Metal Journeyman license or certification is highly preferred (or ability to obtain)

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
