STEM HUB Tutoring is a new tutoring agency founded by a UBC Microbiology & Immunology student with several years of tutoring experience. Having worked directly with students, we understand what makes tutoring effective and are committed to building a team of knowledgeable, patient, and passionate tutors who genuinely enjoy helping students succeed.

We are currently recruiting high-quality tutors as we prepare to launch our services across Greater Vancouver.

Subjects We Are Recruiting For

We welcome applications from tutors in one or more of the following areas:

- Mathematics (Elementary to University)
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- English
- Computer Science
- French and other languages
- AP Courses
- IB Courses
- SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, and other standardized test preparation

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging one-on-one tutoring sessions
- Help students build confidence and improve academic performance
- Prepare lessons based on each student’s needs
- Communicate professionally with students, parents,



and STEM HUB Tutoring
- Arrive on time and maintain a high standard of professionalismQualifications
- Current university student, graduate, or qualified educator
- Strong academic background in your teaching subject(s)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and professional
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but motivated applicants with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply
