Four Seasons Montessori is looking for an energetic person who enjoys working with school-age children in our after-school-care program.
The successful person needs a minimum Responsible Adult course. Early Childhood Educator and/or Assistant certificates would be an asset. Those with ECE(A) certificates have opportunities for more hours. The position is a permanent part time position from September to June each year.
Our staff member meets the children at Frank Ney Elementary School and walks them up the street to our center. Plenty of out-door time, arts and crafts and games are a standard part of the day. The positions runs from 2pm until 6pm with parents picking up no later than 5:30pm.
The starting wage will be reviewed after 3 months of employment.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nanaimo, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
