Job Description:
Kanafani Sweets & Coffee is seeking a motivated Junior Pastry Chef / Kitchen Hand to join our dessert-focused kitchen. You’ll assist with baking, decorating, packaging, and general kitchen duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Open availability is required.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and finish sweets and desserts
- Basic decoration (piping, glazing, garnishing)
- Daily prep: measuring, mixing, assembling ingredients
- Clean and organize kitchen, and maintain equipment
- Package and label products for display/retail
- Support inventory, stock rotation, and deliveries

Requirements:

- 1-3 years bakery, pastry, or kitchen experience (school/co-op projects count)
- Valid Food Handler Certificate is required
- Basic baking and decorating skills,



detail-oriented, reliable
- Able to stand long periods and to perform basic physical kitchen tasks
- Closing shift availability required; flexible schedule otherwise
