Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to support our growing pipeline of commercial and residential projects in the Vancouver area. This role requires strong technical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safe, high-quality work. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Construction

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial, residential, and tenant-improvement projects.
- Rough-in, top-out, and finishing of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, venting, and fixtures.
- Execute layout, measurements, and installation according to drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform gas fitting work if certified (Gas B required for related tasks).

Service & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
- Respond to service calls and provide clear communication with clients and project managers.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure system integrity and compliance.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure all work meets BC Plumbing Code, local municipal requirements,



and VIS safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and adhere to WorkSafeBC regulations.

Team Collaboration & Documentation

- Work closely with project managers, apprentices, and other trades on-site.
- Mentor apprentices and support skill development within the team.
- Complete required documentation, including timecards, service reports, and material tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Red Seal Journeyman Plumber certification (required).
- Gas B Ticket required for gas-related work; Gas A is an asset.
- Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Strong understanding of BC Plumbing Code and city permitting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Valid BC driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and customer-service attitude.

Compensation & Benefits

- Hourly Rate: $44-$54 per hour
