Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to assist our adult son with autism.

We would love to find a fun and enthusiastic person that enjoys exploring the city, playing sports, going to the Ymca, bowling etc.

You must be very creative and able to plan fun activities and outings.

He does not require any medical or personal care type assistance so we are not necessarily looking for a health care aide.

Hours would be every Thursday and Friday from 9:00-2:00. Possibility of more hours on Tuesday and Saturday if wanted.

Duties:

- Provide personalized assistance and support him in activities in the community as well as at our home.
- Planning activities and outings.

Qualifications:

-Experience working as a Support Worker and knowledge of Autism.





- Current Police Security check with vulnerable sector and First aide certificate.

-Drivers license and vehicle.

- Strong communication skills.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $20.24 per hour
