Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Pump Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate and maintain line pumps used to transfer concrete and other materials on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure efficient, safe, and precise placement of materials, supporting the successful completion of paving, concrete forming, and other heavy-duty projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment in a dynamic environment where safety, skill, and teamwork are paramount.

Responsibilities

- Operate line pumps safely and efficiently to transfer concrete or other materials on construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pump equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with project managers and crew members to understand project requirements and timelines
- Set up and dismantle pump systems, including hoses, pipes, and related machinery
- Monitor material flow rates and adjust equipment settings for quality control
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or equipment damage
- Assist with loading, unloading,



and positioning heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or concrete finishing tools as needed

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Construction experience with familiarity in paving, concrete forming, and site preparation
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, and concrete finishing tools
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics related to pump setup and operation
- Excellent teamwork skills with clear communication abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in outdoor conditions
